What is a good restaurant for a first night in NYC?

I will be in NYC next week for Spring Break. Being a broke college kid and bringing four friends (none have ever been to the Big Apple before), we are looking for a restaurant to enjoy for our first night. Somewhere close to Times Square/Theatre District would be preferable. We are looking to spend about $20 each. Any recommendations? What is a good restaurant for a first night in NYC?
The Playwright by Times Square...it's got a bar for you 21 year olds but don't neglect the underaged, they can eat there too. It's easy walking distance from the broadway shows if you were planning on going.

Actually, better go to www.menupages.com and click on Times Square :-)What is a good restaurant for a first night in NYC?
