Need a nice restaurant to take GF for dinner in NYC?

I am going to NYC this coming week with my girlfriend for a little vacation. Her birthday isn't until after we got back but I was thinking about taking her out some place nice as an early present. I am looking for somewhere thats in the $25-$50 price range per meal and is upscale. Both us eat seafood but not any other kind of meat.

Anyone have some good suggestions of a place we should try?

Thanks for the help!Need a nice restaurant to take GF for dinner in NYC?
I would try:

PT if you're looking for italian food. It's cute and it's right off the Williamsburg Bridge. (South 3rd street and Bedford Ave)
Takahachi if you're in the mood for Japanese. It's on Avenue A Between 5th and 6th Street. They have some of the freshest fish in the lower east side.
Otto's is also really nice. It's pretty famous, I don't know the exact address but it shouldn't be hard to find via google.
And there's Mesa Coyaocan which is, hands down, the best mexican food in the city. Mexican restaurants aren't generally as trendy but this one is lovely. It's on Graham Avenue in Williamsburg between Conselyea and Skillman street.Need a nice restaurant to take GF for dinner in NYC?
If you both love seafood, the best seafood restaurant in NYC is Le Bernardin. Its very upscale and you must book several weeks in advance for a reservation (but they might have availability very early or very late). But when you say "$25-50 per MEAL" do you mean "$25-50 per ENTREE"? Because thats exactly what it will cost to eat 1 ENTREE at Le Bernardin. It's not cheap. If you actually meant you want to spend $25-50 for an ENTIRE DINNER PER PERSON (appetizer, entree, dessert, wine/drinks, tax, tip), the only place you could get away with spending that amount (in NYC) is place like red Lobster or a seafood dump in Chinatown.
