I am looking for a small or rustic Mexican Restaurant to go to in NYC. I have a 2nd date on Tuesday of this week and on the first date she mentioned that she liked Mexican Food, but was more interested in smaller more home cooked food like you would find in Mexico. There are always a million upscale Restaurants in NYC to go to that have their own take on classic recipes but for right now I am just looking for an inexpensive place to get some fajitas and a little ambiance wouldn't be so bad either.

Try this classic Spanish Mexican Restaurant. It is in the village. I have enjoyed there cusine for many years.
