Does the Gilt Restaurant (at the Palace Hotel in NYC) do special orders for food?

Ever since the pilot episode of Gossip Girl I've wanted to try the Gossip Girl grilled cheese sandwich that has white truffles in it at the Gilt Restaurant in the Palace Hotel in NYC. I want to go there in August for my Birthday and when I checked their website I no longer see it on the menu. If I were to call days or even a couple of weeks in advance, do you think they could make it for me?Does the Gilt Restaurant (at the Palace Hotel in NYC) do special orders for food?
