My hubby and I are going to be in NYC around the 3rd week of December. We're going to see the Christmas Spectacular, and then go out to dinner. I'm hoping to find a place thats not too expensive, but money isnt really an issue. My big thing is I want it to be romantic and be decorated for christmas. The second time that I'm suggesting The Olive Garden tonight. This one is right at Times Square and if you go up to the second floor and get the right view.......it's awesome. Cafe des Artistes, right off Central Park West (1 West 67th St.). Super romantic, and the food is sumptuously delicious! You should be a little dressed up, hubby should wear at least a sports jacket, but not required. Download menus from their site. It's worth hopping in a cab %26amp; going a little north. You'll be near Tavern on the Green, but don't go there...the food just isn't the same caliber. If you are big meat eaters try Churrascaria Plataforma. It is a brazilian steak house where they serve meat on huge skewers that they cut off pieces of for you... all you can eat, great meat, with a salad bar like you've never seen. It is definitely mid-town, but i can't remember the exact address.
