1. San Diego (flying)
2. Seattle (flying)
3. Las Vegas (flying)
4. Miami (flying or by car)
5. "megalopolis tour" by car - Washington DC, Philly, NYC, Atlantic City, Boston
6. Louisville, Kentucky and Cincinnati Ohio (by car)
7. Memphis TN %26amp; Tunica MS by car
8. Costa Rica
I enjoy golf, spectator sports (particulary baseball), restaurants, bars/nightclubs, playing poker. The trip would be for a week anywhere but the megalopolis tour which would probably require two weeks. There's no right or wrong answer, your opinion counts.Which of these places should I go on a budget vacation? I live in Georgia. Thanks for voting!?
Come and visit Seattle! It's lovely and green here. There is a lot to do, and a lot to see. We do have rain here, but it's nothing that a Polar-tec jacket can't deal with, and it seldom rains HARD. You can see all the standard stuff - the Space Needle, Mount Rainier (not far away from Seattle at all), Mount St. Helens (a little further away), Puget Sound and the ferries that cross it. We have lots of things like botanical gardens, museums, the Seattle aquarium, tours, boat trips, whale-watching, and of course we have the Mariners and the Seahawks. If you want to go a little further, there's the Hoh Rainforest, the Pacific coast (totally amazing this time of year), trips to Victoria and Vancouver, B.C., Indian Reservations, hiking. There's also good night life here, especially if you're into the jazz scene. It's just plain hard to run OUT of things to do here! Seatac is also a comparatively small airport and is easy to deal with.
Whatever you decide, have a safe and enjoyable trip!
Costa Rica it is great.
San Diego, is number two, but you have to go to Costa Rica at least once.Which of these places should I go on a budget vacation? I live in Georgia. Thanks for voting!?
I would do Costa Rica, especially in a few months when the east coast gets hit with snow and cold weather.
Plus you might get lucky..I hear lots of beautiful women are there!!
Costa Rica
its beautiful and a once in a lifetime tripWhich of these places should I go on a budget vacation? I live in Georgia. Thanks for voting!?
Costa Rica! I spent a month there last summer with my girls and we loved everything about it.
If you can limit yourself on gambling then Las Vegas is the choice for a solo trip. ....but l speak from experience when l say NOT gambling in Vegas is easier said than done.
Miami around South Beach has much of what you want, the Florida Keys is also good, Key West can be a good singles town.
Nashville might be a spot to put on your list.
l would avoid San Diego, Seattle %26amp; Costa Rica durning the rainy season. The mega tour is too much to do solo %26amp; l doubt if it could be done at a "budget" price.
A stop at Branson, Missouri fits into the midwest option.
Good Luck.
I also say try Nashville- it's fabulous and has tons to do. But if you MUST go with your list, I vote for Costa Rica.
I think I would head to Memphis-Tunica.
