What positions in the video game industry require no hand drawing skill?

I'm terrible at doing stuff thats artistic, would that screw me over if I wanted a job in game design? What kind of a job could i get? What positions in the video game industry require no hand drawing skill?Game Design actually requires no artistic skill whatsoever. “Design” within the game industry means the math behind every single tiny aspect of the game, the plot of the game, the characters, the items, the gameplay, etc. I just turned in a game design doc yesterday, with really awful stick figure layout sketches, just to reiterate what I had already explained in three paragraphs of text. The art team laughed at me and posted the originals on the wall, because they were that bad. ;)

Game programming, producing, quality assurance, and sound design require no artistic skills either. I’ve met some 3D artists who seem to have forgotten how to hold a pencil, and you can get by in marketing without being able to draw, either.

Despite the emphasis on cutting edge graphics, the majority of the work that goes into a game does not involve drawing at all. One of the best ways to get an idea of the skills needed to get into the game industry is to go to the webpage of one of your favorite studios and check out the job postings (for instance: http://www.blizzard.com/us/jobopp/ ). You’ll see that only those in the actual Art Department require any sort of artistic skills. What positions in the video game industry require no hand drawing skill?Game tester would be your best bet.
