What is the best pokemon game for the ds and why?

i want to finally buy my first pokemon game, so i want to know which game is the best and why? it can include mystery dungeon games and ranger games too. What is the best pokemon game for the ds and why?;] Hello!!! Okay I would suggest you get Pokemon Black/White just because it has more content and it's the most up to date game. If you have any friends that play, they'll probably be playing it as well. Pokemon Black/White was actually made to bring newcomers to play the franchise so it would be a great starting point. As you might know, Black/White has Pokemon that are not found in the other DS games. You can acquire the Pokemon from the other games as well, with a little help from a friend. I suggest you watch/read the IGN review to better your understanding about the game.

Heartgold because of the scenery in that game looks like japan if you want the design of it. Pokemon black for online battles if you like those. Diamond for the outstanding mini games like mining for items and making poffins. It hard to pick. What is the best pokemon game for the ds and why?I believe Pokemon Black and White are the best Pokemon games for the DS.
