For me it was a game back in 1981. Jets Vs Dolphins. Richard Todd threw a winning TD with only seconds left %26amp; won the game for the Jets 16-15. After that i got hooked. When I was a kid we always watched Notre Dame football games on saturdays...can't remember the specifics.

For the NFL, my family was always Packer fans so I remember those too.

It was either 77,78, or 79 in Norman Oklahoma. I was a kid and my dad was a VP at Pepsi. He got tickets from work for OU vs. Nebraska back in the days of Switzer and the Big 8. I didn't know a thing about football, but I had the time of my life and it changed me. I threw away my 1 dollie, got a nerf football and some matchbox cars and began to proclaim I was gonna be the first girl QB for the Sooners. (I ended up at Okie State and in Equestrian competition) Maybe some day girls will play NCAA football....NOT!
