Where can I have a nice party/get together with a few friends in NYC that won't cost an arm and a leg?

Too busy to look for a place %26amp; it's for my 21st B-Day =-D I need sum serious help b/c my b-day is next week! HI! I have been to this place Playwright Tavern a few times and I had a good time with a big group each time. I know they don't have a cover and there is room to chill and a good amount of seating.

McCarren Park Pool Williamsburg, Northside, Brooklyn, NY.



I visited NY in the summer for almost 2 weeks. I stayed with a friend in Brooklyn and he couldn't wait to take me and another friend to McCarren Park Pool.

It was July and about 200 degrees in Brooklyn...kind of chilly if you ask me. Actually waiting in line and listening to my skin sizzle was a lot of fun. So many different types of people were showing up and braving the sun and it's damaging effects to hear a free concert,

And come on, Matt%26amp;Kim, The Whip AND the Breeders all in one show[for FREEFREEFREE]...yeah!! They have some TOPSHOP giveaways going on too.
