Should i go to this party?

two people i know have a birthday on the same day.

simply put; one i like one i cant stand.

i only have $30. i feel bad asking my parents for money all the time, and i really do not want to ask them.

the two girls are combining their birthday, since they are friends and share tons of mutual friends. i think im the only one who dont like the one, besides like one other person.

i dont think she knows i dont like her. i just dont like her attitude and how she acts, shes so annoying always begging for food and money and attacking me when i dont give her my juice.

well on Thursday we had words. she said something to me and instead of blowing it off like normally i went back at her, then she said some sh*t in spanish about me right in front of me.



well in 2 weeks [they gave a lot of time notice] they are all going to this Japanese place. its pretty expensive and formal. i dont even eat Japanese food. i need to expand my eating ranges or w.e u call it i know, i dont really eat at ethnic places. like Italian food. i wont eat outside sauce no matter how many places i try, i wont even eat my moms, only my gmas. but its a really nice restaurant, the Japanese place. its right on the water front. like when u eat u look out the water and u see the Hudson River and NYC. Really pretty, especially at night, but we're going in the day.



i cant afford 2 presents, one for each. i dont even want to give the one girl anything. i cant afford to go there, it would be a little better if they were going somewhere cheaper like Outback, but they have been dying to try this place and it isnt my birthday to choose.



i just dont want to go im going to be miserable. i CANT STAND the one girl. shes really annoying and obnoxious. and im broke. even if i order the cheapest thing on the menu im gona pay a crazy price cause they are gona split up the bill cause they are retards.



i looked on the online menu for that place too all the food sounded pretty gross to me.

i dont eat seafood.



what should i do

|here's an idea...don't go. u sound like u really dont want to go. Dont waste your day...call up a friend thats not going and go have a girls day out at the mall or something. Have fun! And if i were u, i really would not go.
annoying as this other girl is, if its a joint party then it would simply be rude to ignore her, and not get her a gift. give her a ten follar itunes gift card, and for the other girl, since she is your friend, get her something more personalShould i go to this party?
It's up to you if you want to go or not. You need to make that decision.
Well.....if you feel you need to put in an appearance for the sake of the one you do like, maybe you could eat before you go and just order a drink at this restaurant? But that wouldn't be too good for you if the hosts are splitting the bill like that. But then again you could go for a little while, just order a drink and hurry up and leave before the bill comes.Should i go to this party?
Don't go to the party! simple, there are always parties around town. Missing one party wont impact your social life. Just go out with another friend/partner on the same night and have your own fun. Just tell the party throwers that your sick. That will work. = )
If your going to dread going to this party, then don't.

Instead ask if you and your good friend can do something special for her birthday.

I know you don't have a lot of money, but trying splitting the money 50/50 spend $15 on each gift, maybe a gift card, it's not much but it shows you care.
Don't go, I don't think you would enjoy yourself. Maybe you could "do lunch" during which you could spend time with just your favourite friend and give her the present. Make clear to her, however, why you cannot go to the party; tell her you wouldn't feel comfortable with her other 'friend' around.
