What shoes do men wear in New York City during the winter?

My family is going to NYC this week. The forecast says there's a chance of snow. As we've never been before, we're unsure what kinds of shoes men wear in the city during this kind of weather. Any suggestions?



Also, if anyone has any suggestions of affordable, New York experience kinds of restaurants in the Manhattan area (Time Square, Rockefeller Plaza, etc), we'd appreciate that as well!
