Where to eat in NYC for romantic evening?

My husband and I will be in Manhattan less than a week after our wedding anniversary and we decided to just celebrate while there. Where can we find a nice restaurant to celebrate that won't totally break the bank? We'll go for something quite nice, but not the top notch, most expensive places around. I can find something on a menu just about anywhere that I'll be willing to try and probably enjoy. My husband is a more traditional "American" kind of cuisine eater. He'll try things, but nothing too adventurous. We are only there for about 2 days when not counting time for travel, etc. so I need help! I've never been and he's been once. I've asked some friends living in the area, and we've been using urbanspoon, but would love other suggestions. Thanks!Where to eat in NYC for romantic evening?
Well, depends on the money situation.....

If you have a good $200-300 go to Sardi's

If money is tight, go to little italy...nice food, good prices

if your adventurous, go to Hobokken NJ and go to Arthur's steakhouse, it's unbelievable and the price is right!
planet hollywood is always great, and definatly not too expensiveWhere to eat in NYC for romantic evening?

Camaje in the village is a great spot. There are also a ton of restaurants with lots of different food and great prices on Restaurant Row on 46th Street by the theater district. Swing 46 has great food and usually a live band for swing dancing.
