What Do You Think - Am I A Booty Call?

Im afraid to ask it, but I think I might know the answer. Dating a guy, we see each other a once a week. Thing is, if it is a booty call hes very good at disguising it. LOL. Last weekend he invited me out. It was his cousins birthday and they were all hanging out at a karaoke bar in NYC. I met him there and he invited me in; I was the only non family member there so I felt good that he invited me. He introduced me to a few of his cousins and stuff and we left. We went to a restaurant and had a quick dinner. Back at his place..watched some TV, hes walking around and subtely lights some candles. I spend the night; leave the next morning. He pays for my cab and insists that if its more than what he gave me to let him know and he will give me more next time he sees me. That was last Saturday nite (left Sun morn) - havent heard from him since. I texted him Wednesday, thinking, I dont always have to wait for him to call me. He texted right back and was happy to hear from me and said he would call me later but never did. WTF? I cant decide if he is taking it slow or just playing around..



He has this way of making me feel important when we are together but then he doesnt call afterward. Never experienced this before. He told me long ago that he wasnt a phone person, and boy do I get it. But if youre thinking about someone then dont you call? Watch he will call me this weekend and say something nice, like, I THOUGHT OF YOU AND IT MADE ME SMILE. But Im ready to call it quits because its just too inconsistent. Im not necessarily looking for a commitment at this phase, but consistency would be nice, and him acting as if he is excited to be in my life. Not getting that. he may be just playing it cool but I think if he really likes you he will stop that soon. Do not initiate contact any more and don't just be available when he asks to hang out. Make him set dates a head of time.



If he can't put any effort into it then he is not that interested. If he only wants to hangout on fairly short notice then you are probably a back up for him.
