We've known each other for 6 months, and are close friends in our mid-20s. She models, and as a result travels 3-4 days a week. But we manage to go out about once a week. She knows I like her, and I think she's opening up about us. The last two weeks, she's been calling everyday, even when she's on the road. She's even made lunch for me to take to the office. Tonight, she called and said she had to be in NYC for a shoot, but would be back on Monday, and would I like to join her for dinner.



We go to dinners all the time, so it's hard to make just dinner special. So I wanted some suggestions. Right now, I am thinking of having drinks at this place called BarChef, then walking through the museum, or catching a movie, before heading out to The Corner House...she's a vegetarian, and this restaurant normally doesn't do it, but the chef has agreed to make us a special vegetarian menu. After that, I thought maybe we could just get a coffee somewhere and talk.

Find a place with a nice view, perhaps a outdoor/rooftop coffee shop or park, to sit or walk. If it's nice out, this will be great ambience. Especially if there's water nearby.

Flowers! Nice flowers too. I think it's really cool that you got the chef to make a vegetarian menu just for you guys. Make sure you're clear about how you feel, don't send mixed signals or let your nerves get in the way. Walks under the stars are always nice too :) Good setting for a kiss or two.

totally off topic but something really romantic would be renting out a small boat and bringing her around and when it's sunset lay there next to her; give her a kiss. by nightfall lay have a dance. haha how could you not remember this day?!
I think your idea is great. I have one idea that really hooked me into my relationship when we first were getting to know one another. That might work for you if you have the capabilities.



I say don't try to jam to much into one night just go with the flow cause us women love men who are not trying to hard. Maybe all your nice ideas might be better suited for the one year anniversary and only plan one or two of them at first. Then see were the night takes you.

I think the restaurant cooking a special dinner is an amazing idea you could go get a drink before and say you have made dinner plans for her. She will be amazed at what you planned. You wont have to point out what you did or anything. She will pick up on it.

The thing I was thinking might be a good idea is cooking her dinner. I guess you could use this for your next date. It is so nice when a man cooks a great meal for you. You should try it out first if you are not sure how it will turn out. I think bringing her to your house for a dinner you are making with wine and promise of a movie or museum after so she dose not feel pressure about being at your house, would be beautiful and could lead to skipping the movie and a little extra fun at your house.
