Does she really like me?

Okay so there is this girl I work with and have known for 5 years since I was 14. So over the past few months, I believe or at least I know we have begun to fall for each other. We are both shy and are spitting images of each other. Anyways, at work we used to talk to each other but very nervously and she would/does hang around me. Also I check her secretly checking me out. Despite this we never really talk outside of work.

So, I was coming home from college(we both commute to NYC for school) and I were coincidently on the same train. I walked by her without noticing and got a text a minute later saying she saw me on the train, so I went and sat with her. It was very awkward and consisted of small talk. So come next week, I sit with her again and we sort of hit it off and for the first time I felt our encounter was"normal". Even when there were nervous encounters she always laughs at what I have to say and what not. I felt really good when I got off the train, I take things slow as you can see.

So next day we are both scheduled to work(at a restaurant) and she flat out ignores me, and I sort of did the same. I could just sense the tension in the air. Well needless to say 3 hours into the shift she started to flirt with me and we begin to talk as though we never ignored each other in the first place. So may I ask, does this girl like me? Or is she being shy and reluctant, I think I am doing the same thing she is doing(so maybe she is thinking the same thing?) What do you all think? Thanks



I am think about asking her to go to a hockey game with me b/c I have season tickets. We both go to school in NYC so it would convenient. Good idea? or is something more traditional better?Does she really like me?
well, first of all, the reason she ignored you is cause she probably wanted you to talk to her first. if she laughs at anything that is incredibly stupid it's a HUGE sign she likes you. we have to go out of our way to make a fake laugh especially if something is stupid. so if she goes out of her way, then that's something. i think you should ask her out that would make everything easier for the both of you. good luckDoes she really like me?
it might be a good idea if she likes hockey. and no she does not like you if she ignores you. she is just going to play games... Well that's my opinion.
