Want to know whats the best train route to take from North Haledon, NJ to New York City?

This week I'm going out to NYC for an interview for a possible internship in a restaurant. I'm staying with relatives (who I will also most likely be staying with if I get the internship) in North Haledon, NJ and I need to get to 160 W. 25th Street in NYC. I'm pretty sure I need to get off at the New York Penn Station, but was wondering what the most convenient station would be for me to get on in NJ.
