Ok so my dad works a lot, mostly 24/7. He owns a restaurant and hes there everyday of the week , (but that's the only way your restaurant will do good) So heres the problem, I want to spend more time with my dad ( after all u only have one childhood). I told him this and he said ok and to find activities to do. My moms suggested going to orlando for summer and he tought this was a good idea. I need you guys to find father son activities for me. Keep in mind that I am 13, he is 46, he has a back problem (so no waterslides and roller coasters),no paintball or airsoft, quality time that I will never forget with my dad. I was thinking camping. We already have a fishing boat so no fishing. I was thinking of a getaway from state vacation. O yeah and we live in NYC so no suggestions about NYC. Thankyou very much.Father Son Time?????
Otta Control Dinner show in Orlando is a great place! It's family friendly. Unlimited soft drinks, great food, jokes, and movies. highly recommend checking that out if your going to FL. Disney Holloywood Studios is really run. You can co star in your own Tv show and watch how they make tv shows and all that stuff. It's really cool. There's a lot of other places also.

Any of the big parks in Orlando are great--- You can spend all week at Disney World and lots of stuff for teens and dads to do. You don't have to ride the teacups to have fun. Universal Studios is also cool and I was pleasantly surprised with Sea World. But if you want to just go camping, head north into the Adirondacks and camp out a few days up there. Several towns up there have some attractions you can have fun with, I know we went canoeing and you could also rent kayaks though they are not a good thing with a bad back-- personal experience. Even Niagara Falls is great to see and experience, and close to NYC. By the way, just got back from NYC with the extended family, they loved it- I'd been before and knew it was great. Everyone was really nice and pleasant to us; we ate at Carnegie Deli 4 times. if you are set on Orlando, think about maybe doing Universal, which you can do in a day or day and a half, and rent a car and go to the Cape Canaveral and tour the space center-- and go to Coco Beach or another beach along the coast.
