Great place for 17th birthday in NYC?

im plannin on havin a 17th bday in nyc this year with about 7-9 of my closest friends. i want to go to a really cool restaurant (it would be nice if there was a dance floor or somethin), and do some activity (not ice-skating). Any suggestions of wats some good places to go to?? plz help! oh and by the way, it's goin to be held during the week after christmas but before new years.Great place for 17th birthday in NYC?

Let's start by saying, I can not even get across how jealous I am. But depending on your budget it is extremely fun just renting a hotel room... I would recommened the Hilton in Times Square because it has a great location. Fun restaurants hmm.. there is so many well Star Dust Cafe is fun for a smaller budget or Churrascaria Platforma
You can try going to Spotlight Live, which is in Times Square so within walking distance from Rockefeller. It's a really fun place to go with a group--the place is cool and there's entertainment...you and your friends can sing on stage with back-up singers and dancers or go into one of their recording booths.



Also check out the Awesome 80's Prom at Webster Hall, which is always tons of fun.
