Fun restaurants in NYC or Westchester for my 16th Birthday?!?

I am turning 16 in a week and I've been trying to figure out something fun and different to do for my 16th birthday... I didn't want a BIG party so i was thinking about a nice dinner with my friends or something along those lines. My mom doesn't want to spend a fortune but I'm more interested in something memorable. I can't really help you with the restaurant recommendation, HOWEVER, there is an AMAZING dessert cafe in New York City that I LOVE. It's called Viniero's, and it's a small but really cute patisserie. The food (especially the pastry section) is TO DIE FOR and the decor, although the place is rather small, is really cute and vintage. The link to their website is http://www.venierospastry.com/ . Do NOT be fooled by the rather shabby website- it's a *really* nice restaurant and I try to go there whenever I take an outing to NYC (I live in Westchester.)

Their delicious Pignoli Nut Cookies are the BEST FOOD I have tasted in my ENTIRE life.

Another really great dessert location is called Milk and Cookies Bakery. It too is a delicious little store, where you can customize ingredients of cookies, (delicious, and baked in front of your very eyes!) ice cream, brownies, cakes, and pretty much everything else you could want!

They have gazillions of ingredient choices, I swear. It's amazing.

I reccomend going to the original shop, not the new Espresso bar that was recently opened, because it is very quaint and most likely gets less traffic than the new one.
