New live-in job in Manhattan, is $300 a week salary enough?

I'm 23 years old and thinking about taking a fun job at a Manhattan hostel. The pay is $300 weekly and I get to live at the hostel for free! So I don't have to worry about paying rent. All I'll need to buy is groceries. I'm a laid back, low maintenance girl, so I don't go to nightclubs, shop, or eat at restaurants a lot. I do frequent museums, galleries, fitness programs, and would like to explore the outer boroughs on the weekends. I've never been to NYC and think this would be a fun way to experience Manhattan, but I'm worried that I'll just be stuck in the hostel all the time and not be able to do anything. Is $300 a week enough to enjoy such an expensive city for a girl like me?New live-in job in Manhattan, is $300 a week salary enough?
Well, you did mention that you're not that overspending type of person, and you enjoy museums, so that's not bad at all. If you enjoy your freedom then this is right for you :-).
You're so lucky.

I've been looking for that exact job since my friend is doing the same and wanted me to find something similar.

If you find any other opportunities, or don't want the job. Let me know.

I'll be glad to step in for you!!!

You should be fine. Make sure you buy a Metro Card (30 days is $40.50 for unlimited use) so you can hop onto the Metro (subway) and explore all you want.
You probably could because you're not paying for rent and utilities. Have a good time.
