Next week my family and I are going to NYC and we want to go to Little Italy and/or Chinatown for meals. The thing is, I know NYC is expensive and I was hoping that someone could tell me restaurants in either areas or both that are on the cheaper side so my dad won't have to pay a bunch. I've tried looking around online for cheaper restaurants in the area but can't find many with the actual prices. I'm hoping that the restaurants accept credit cards too. Thank you so much!Inexpensive restaurants in Little Italy and Chinatown?

Menupages.com is a good site to find restaurants by neighborhood, cuisine, and price. Most of the restaurant listings they have include an on-screen or printable menu, plus user reviews.
Here are the pages for Chinatown and Little Italy:

Just walking through Little Italy, you'll be able to find some reasonably priced Italian restaurants.
Chinatown on the other hand don't usually take credit cards. It's usually a cash business (less to declare on taxes). There are many inexpensive eateries there, but it's usually a no-frills atmosphere. In other words, some of the best %26amp; cheapest food are in places with just tables %26amp; chairs. They are not into decoration. They have menus and you can have a great meal for $40 for 4 people.
Some of my favorites are:
Big Wong
67 Mott St (between Bayard %26amp; Canal Sts.)
Green Bo Restaurant
66 Bayard St.
Sweet n' Tart Restaurant
20 Mott Street ($25 min. credit card)
They have "Dim Sum" which is Tea Time with oodles of little plates of dishes to try. Have a smorgasbord of different types of food (menu to pick from). This is the eastern version of the Coffee break.
Ping's Seafood
22 Mott Street (have regular food %26amp; Dim Sum)
NY Noodletown
28 1/2 Bowery St.
Wo Hop
17 Mott Street
Oriental Gardens
14 Elizabeth St.
Jing Fong
20 Elizabeth St. (Dim Sum)
Dim Sum GoGo
5 E. Broadway
There's quite a few to choose from. Do try both regular food %26amp; the Dim Sum. Make 2 trips or go to Ping's Seafood which has both. Enjoy.
