I am looking for a place to stay in Manhattan or close to it for about $160-200 bucks a week. Please help!!?

I am looking for a private room type of place, communal amenities are fine. I would like to be close to "everything" if possible. I know this all may be a stretch but im hoping for the best. It will be my first time and I'm very excited. And in addition to all of the above......what can i do in NYC? where to go? where to eat(cheap) not looking for restaurants this trip. what to see??? Well, considering that even a bunk in a youth hostel in NYC can cost as much as $100 a night, why not stay at one of the hotels offered by the NY Inns Hotel Group (see link, below).



They have three very nice hotels right in Manhattan, in the Murray Hill (near Times Square), Union Square (near the East and West Village) and Upper West Side (near Lincoln Center and Central Park) neighborhoods, and the rooms are nice, the service is good, and they're affordable, too!
