How great is this????

I was just in NYC with my mom for the week. We did alot of shopping. I'm gay, and loved it! We both like designers, so we'd go to all the stores and most of them had obviously gay male employees. Elie Tahari, Boss, Searle, Prada, etc. It was great, because my mom could finally see how open and comfortable everyone was! The guy who sold her makeup at Barney's--obviously gay. She seemed proud though at dinner stating "I think _____ is gay" and I felt like saying "no kidding!" One night at dinner, we went to a restaurant, which we didnt know was at the edge of Chelsea! Gay bartender, out of 3 waiters, 2 were obviously gay, and out of 11 tables, 3 had gay male couples at them. I just loved seeing how open and comfortable everyone is! I think everyone in the closet should see this place! I live in a city of 1million, and have never seen as much as two men holding hands! Isnt that sad!How great is this????
It's a shame people feel more comfortable with their sexuality just depending on where they live...I think people should feel free to express their rights to love whomever. But it is wonderful that you spent time with your mother and enjoyed New York..they do have great fashion!
