Did you do something special in NYC in or around the World Trade Center before the 9/11 terrorist attack?

Two years prior I had vacationed there in NYC for a week. I had gone up to the Windows of the World Restaurant and had lunch. I had taken video from the window down to the gold scupture that was in the fountain in the center of the WTC. I look at that video sometimes. I realized the video caught the perspective of people who jumped out of windows to their death to escape death by fire. What a horrible way to die, either way.Did you do something special in NYC in or around the World Trade Center before the 9/11 terrorist attack?
I went up with my uncle (Who I was staying with that summer) and ate up there too, the summer before. That was a really big deal for me.

No, I didn't do anything near there before 9/11... But that is so sad, to have the memories of being there when all was okay, and then to think of the devastation just two years later. And to have that video and see what those poor people saw before they died like that... It's so horrible. I don't even know what to say.
June of 2001, I flew into Laguardia airport. That's the only time I've been to New York.



I can only imagine the way it looked from up there. It's Terrible what happened on that day. I'll never forget it.

Well, a few months before I went with my brother and my mom's girlfriend and we said how one day we would have to go with my mom but uh, that never happened.



It was pretty scary on the day of the attack. First the school was locked down, and my mom couldn't get me. When I did go home, we had to go inside pretty much right away because there was actually smoke in the air (I live in northern NJ).
