I'm visiting NYC in a few weeks and I'm looking for good pizzerias, chinese food, deli's and pubs. But any recommendations are appreciated! I'm also looking for a top notch restaurant for fine dining.
Thank you in advance :)Any recommendations for places to eat in New York City?
As someone else said, there are so many places to eat, so all depends on what you like and your budget. One of my favorites spots is Tempest Bar, which is a terrific pub with darts, a pool table and jukebox and it lets you bring in your own food. The pizza place down the block, New York Suprema, delivers and it's one of the top-rated pizza places in the city, so you can get great pizza and terrific beer and have fun for like $20 for the whole night. For a fancy meal, another place I love in the same neighborhood is Tir na nog, a first class Irish pub with a modern menu; it's especially good for Irish favorites like lamb and salmon.
For Italian, just go to Little Italy - you can't go wrong with almost any place there!
My friend, there are thousands of restaurants in the Five Boroughs of New York City. Depending on your taste, your budget and your preferred location, may I recommend the link below.
http://www.menupages.com/ -- MenuPages.com is the one of the best website on the Internet. It included menus with prices, as well as restaurant reviews.
Good luck and Bon appetit!Any recommendations for places to eat in New York City?
In Greenwich Village, Bianca's on Bleecker and the Bowery - Very good Italian food - prices are excellent - I don't think they have anything over $15.
Celeste, on the Upper West Side on Amsterdam and 84th - great bargain - excellent Italian food - prices are very reasonable - nothing more than $15, service is pleasant - a really nice place.
La Bonne Soup has great soups, omelets, salads. Meals are very reasonable and a lot of them come with a glass of wine. If you go here, see if you can get one of the tables on the outside "balcony" - great people watching.
Here is a link to the best food joints in all of New York City. It also comes with reviews from real people and not company spokespeople. I hope this is helpful.
